About
About Adam Young
A local painter and decorator with more than 15 years in the trade, working across Clackmannanshire, Stirling, Falkirk and surrounding areas.
Your vision, my expertise
One person, one promise
I'm Adam, and I've spent more than fifteen years painting and decorating homes across central Scotland. I run my own business, which means I quote every job personally, do the work myself and take responsibility for the result. No subcontractors, no passing the job down the line.
I'm based in Clackmannanshire and most of my work is in Alloa, the Hillfoots towns and the villages in between, as well as Stirling, Falkirk and across the river in west Fife. I know the housing in this area well, from stone-built Victorian villas to the newest developments, and I know what each needs to look its best and last.
My promise is simple: honest prices, reliable service and results you'll love.
How I work
What you can expect
Clear communication
A prompt reply to your enquiry, a written quote and updates as the job progresses.
Reliable timekeeping
I turn up when I say I will and keep to the agreed timescale.
Proper preparation
Filling, sanding, caulking and priming before any top coat goes on. It's the part you don't see that makes the finish last.
Respect for your home
Floors and furniture protected, tools tidied away and the room cleaned at the end of each day.
Quality materials
Trade-quality paints and papers from established brands, chosen to suit each surface.
Honest advice
If something doesn't need doing, I'll tell you. If there's a better option, I'll suggest it.
